Espresso Redefined Level 2 is for the experienced Home Barista or Cafe Barista, or those who are looking to bring their craft to the next level. We strongly recommend taking our Espresso Redefined Level 1 first before signing up for this course.
During the 3-Hour session, we also dedicate and hour of theory focusing on calibrating the espresso. The 2-hour practical will help the participants discover how ground size, dosage, tamp and temperature affect the taste of the espresso, both at sensory and quantitive level. Students get to use a coffee refractometer to measure their extraction via Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) readout.
All participants will receive a course certificate from Papa Palheta upon completion of this workshop.
